My three-month internship at Xport eventually comes to an end. I would like to say a special “Thank you”  to the Xport team members who have been very kind and supportive to me. I am truly grateful for your help and support in the last 3 months.

During my internship in Xport,  I became more aware of the business situation in Etelä-Pohjanmaa, companies and important people in the region that I haven’t known before, such as, Vientikilta, a networking group for entrepreneurs in E-P, funding associations like Ely-Keskus or local organizations promoting businesses like Kauppakamari. Equally important, I learned more about export-related things, for example, what export companies should do before entering an international market and how a market research is conducted.

These are a few comments that were made to me recently which made me think about, and compare, ways in which we have tried to build the profile of Xport since we launched in  January 2014. There have also been recent incidents of connecting with people, on a worldwide scale, which I wanted to share.
